How we work with children and families
Evaluations include time with the parent or guardian and time with the child, adjusted for age. With your permission, we gather information from school staff, therapists and your pediatrician. Treatment plans are family-centered and may include parent guidance, therapy referral, school recommendations and, when appropriate, medication with careful monitoring.
Working with Nashua schools
We regularly help families prepare for 504 plan or IEP conversations by providing clear clinical information. Educators" observations are valuable, and we welcome them as part of the assessment.
Appointments for Nashua families
Our office is at 215 South Broadway in Salem, NH, about a 30-minute drive east of Nashua. Many Nashua patients also use secure telehealth visits from home, so you do not have to choose between the care you need and the time you have. After-school telehealth follow-ups can save a trip.

What ages do you see?
We see children from age 4 and adolescents through 17, and continue care into adulthood.
Does my child need to attend the first visit?
Yes, for most of it. Younger children usually spend part of the visit with the psychiatrist and part with a parent present.
Will you put my child on medication?
Not automatically. Medication is considered only when it is likely to help and after discussing benefits and risks with you.
Can you talk to my child"s school?
With your written permission, yes.
