  • What age group do you treat at PsychNashua?
    We provide treatment for all individuals ranging from 4 to 65 years old.
  • Which health insurance plans do you currently accept?
    We currently accept Anthem BCBS, Horizon BCBS, BlueCross BlueShield, Tufts Commercial, Blue Benefit, United Healthcare, UMR, AETNA, Health Plans INC, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Mass General Brigham health plan or Always Health Partners.
  • Do you offer fee-for-service, and what are the associated rates?
    Our initial evaluation, typically lasting an hour, is billed at $500 for out-of-network patients. Follow-up appointments of 20 minutes or less are charged at $200, and those lasting 20-30 minutes are billed at $250. We provide detailed receipts for patients to submit to their insurance providers, which usually reimburse 60-80 percent of the billed amount for out-of-network benefits.
  • What is your policy regarding appointment cancellations?
    A 48-business-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees of $100 or more, depending on the appointment time slot.
  • What are your operating hours?
    Our office operates from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.
  • Do you offer telepsychiatry or online appointments?
    Yes.
  • What modes of payment methods are accepted?
    We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards and payments via Zelle, cash, and checks.
  • Are your psychiatrists and mental health service providers board-certified?

  • Are my records and visits kept confidential?
    All records are securely stored in an encrypted Electronic Medical Record, and no information is disclosed without your written consent.

  • How do I request a refill of medication?
    For medication refills, please get in touch with the provider's assistant through your patient portal or reach out to us directly. We do not accept refill requests from pharmacies due to potential inaccuracies. Allow 3-4 business days for processing refill requests, though most are completed within the same business day.
  • What is the preferred method of contact?
    The easiest and most efficient way to reach us is by sending a secure message through the patient portal. Please send another message if you are still waiting to receive a response within 24 business hours. In case of mental health emergencies, please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.
