Treatment options
Treatment may include organization strategies, coaching, parent training, school or workplace accommodations and, when appropriate, stimulant or non-stimulant medication. Controlled-medication prescribing follows federal and New Hampshire rules and requires regular follow-up.

ADHD support in Lebanon
Parents of students at Lebanon High School and Lebanon Middle School often ask us about homework, focus and accommodations. Among adults, hospital staff, technology workers and educators sometimes find that organization gets harder as responsibilities grow.
Care for the Lebanon community
Lebanon is a regional center for healthcare and technology in the Upper Valley, and many residents cross the Connecticut River for work every day. Because our psychiatrists are licensed in New Hampshire, Lebanon patients plan video visits for times when they are on the New Hampshire side.
Accommodations
When the evaluation supports it, we can provide letters for school or workplace accommodations, such as extended time or a quieter workspace.
Getting care from Lebanon
Our office is in Salem, about an hour and 45 minutes from Lebanon, so most Lebanon patients see us by secure video from home. When an in-person visit is needed, we plan it so the trip is worthwhile.
Frequently asked questions
Can anxiety look like ADHD?
Yes. Anxiety, poor sleep and depression can all affect concentration, which is why we screen for them.
Can adults be evaluated for ADHD?
Yes, we evaluate adults up to age 65.
How long does the evaluation take?
Usually one extended visit plus time to review rating scales.
Can I have a video visit while I am in Vermont?
No. Our psychiatrists are licensed in New Hampshire, so you must be physically in New Hampshire during a video visit.
