Our approach
We look for causes first: mood, anxiety, trauma, substances, medical conditions and daily routines. Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is the recommended first-line treatment, and we can guide you on its core steps or refer you. When medication is used, we choose it carefully and avoid long-term reliance on habit-forming sleep aids. If sleep apnea or another sleep disorder is suspected, we refer you for a sleep study.

Sleep care for Kingston residents
For commuters heading to Massachusetts, Exeter and the Seacoast along Route 125, poor sleep often comes from stress, anxiety, low mood or irregular schedules rather than a lack of tiredness. We look for the cause first, then build a plan that includes CBT-I principles and careful, limited use of medication when it helps.
Living in Kingston
Kingston is a lake town built around Great Pond, Country Pond and Kingston State Park, with a historic town green along Route 125. Teens attend Sanborn Regional High School with Newton, and many residents commute into Massachusetts or toward Exeter and the Seacoast.
When it might be something else
Loud snoring, gasping at night or severe daytime sleepiness can point to sleep apnea, and restless legs can also disrupt sleep. We refer to sleep medicine specialists when a sleep study is needed.
