Supporting Durham students and families
Families with children at Oyster River High School and Oyster River Middle School come to us when struggles start to affect learning, friendships or home life. With your consent we can share clinical information for a 504 plan or IEP meeting. Older teens heading to the University of New Hampshire or elsewhere can continue with us while they are in New Hampshire.
Not sure where to start? Book a psychiatric evaluation in Durham, learn about telehealth psychiatry or contact our team.
Reasons parents call us
Teachers raising concerns about attention or behavior, a child refusing school, a teenager who has become withdrawn or irritable, frequent meltdowns, changes in sleep or appetite, and social struggles are all common reasons families book an evaluation.
Living in Durham
Durham is shaped by the University of New Hampshire, with faculty, staff and students alongside long-time residents. Students should remember that video visits must take place while they are physically in New Hampshire, which matters during breaks at home in another state.
Help at school
When needed, and with consent, we provide information for 504 plans or IEPs and practical ideas teachers can use in class.
